About the Role:

The Softball Ambassador is a key member of our team at DICK'S Sporting Goods INC, responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience to softball players. This role requires a deep understanding of softball and the ability to provide personalized product recommendations that meet the customer's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet customers where they are in their softball journey, creating a tailored and unparalleled customer service experience by adapting sales style and leveraging in-store technology to gather data-driven insights.
• Leverage on-the-field expertise and/or softball knowledge to provide recommendations that meet the athlete's needs.
• Translate product technology to the athlete, aligning it with their position(s) and contributing to their overall game-day experience.
• Fully outfit athletes with appropriate product, equipment, and accessories for any occasion, from practice/training to game day.
• Participate in product testing and learning opportunities to share knowledge and insights with teammates and athletes.
• Partner with store teammates to educate others on new softball-related products and maintain merchandise presentation standards.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
• Support the team across the store and perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior retail sales experience or customer-focused experience preferred.
