Overview

At Berlin Health and Rehabilitation Center - Barre, VT, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse Supervisor to support the Director of Nursing in delivering efficient and effective nursing care. This role is responsible for leading the clinical operations of the nursing units, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and facilitating the implementation of the care delivery model.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shifts.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff and minimize overtime and agency personnel.
  • Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation, mentor staff, and make recommendations for employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
  • A minimum of three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing and one year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification and RN license.
