Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Caulking Specialist to join our team at Wells Concrete. As a Caulking Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation of sealants, caulking, and waterproofing systems on buildings and ramps.
Key Responsibilities- Safety First: Ensure the safety of crew and personnel, including proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
- Sealant Installation: Seal all precast and concrete joints to ensure a watertight seal.
- Heightened Safety: Work from ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts at various heights safely.
- Team Player: Follow direction of the Field Supervisor and foreman, and bring any problems to their attention.
- Independence: Work independently and complete daily activities according to schedule with minimal supervision.
- Tool Operation: Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Clean Jobsite: Maintain a clean jobsite and trailer/truck.
- Special Projects: Complete special projects as requested and perform other duties as assigned.
- Interpersonal Skills: Must have strong interpersonal communication skills to interact with co-workers, supervisors, and managers.
- Safety Knowledge: Understand safety requirements to maintain a safe jobsite.
- Professionalism: Must always carry oneself in a professional manner.
- Quality Minded: Quality minded and able to work with others to get the project completed efficiently.
- Travel: Ability and willingness to travel as necessary.
- Motivation: Must be motivated and self-driven to complete a task.
- Adaptability: Understand and accept changes that are implemented to become Best-in-Class.
- Experience: 2 years prior experience in construction preferred.
- Precast Concrete Experience: Precast concrete and construction site experience preferred.
- Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Lifting: Physically able to lift up to 100lbs+ occasionally and 50lbs frequently.
- Physical Demands: Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl, and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequently.
- Mobility: Ability to move around for up to 12 hours per day.
- Heightened Safety: Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts at various heights frequently.
- Unusual Elements: Moderate to high risk of exposure to unusual elements.
- Safety Precautions: Moderate to high risk of safety precautions.
- Jobsite Environment: Moderate to high exposure to jobsite environment.
- Weather Conditions: Wet, hot, humid, and wintry conditions (weather related).
- Year-Round Work: Ability to work outside year-round.
