Police Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team at the City of Stuart, FL. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, protecting the community, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

• Conduct routine patrols in designated areas to detect and prevent crime.
• Respond to emergency calls and take action to resolve situations requiring police attention.
• Provide information and assistance to the public, and facilitate solutions to community problems.
• Enforce laws and make arrests when necessary, and issue citations and notices to appear.
• Prepare written reports and forms, and testify in court proceedings as required.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Meet current state training requirements for police officer certification.
• Current Florida driver's license.
• Ability to pass a physical examination and background investigation.
