Job Summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation Parker Aerospace Group is seeking a skilled Assembly and Test Technician to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for performing routine and repetitive work to pick, wash, and inspect machined and purchased parts, including fasteners and seals, to arrange them for detailing and final assembly of wide variety and sizes of accumulators and accessories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform deburring, detailing, assembly, and test of accumulators.
  • Assist with detailing and assembly and test of accumulators.
  • Assist with detailing and assembly of standard, special, and custom accumulators.
  • Perform duties to complete and file inspection and test reports.
  • Maintain all tools and assembly equipment and report any malfunctions.
  • May perform or assist with product final operations, including painting, rust preventing, packing, and crating.
  • Work from drawings, parts lists, specifications, and instruction manuals.
  • Use basic shop mathematics and a variety of inspection tools, gages, which require interpretation in various applications.
  • Participate in a work team environment.
  • Perform these and other duties as requested by Supervisor.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly. Lift assistance required to be used at 41 pounds or more.
  • Requires the use of general mathematics.
  • Requires the use of complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables, and handbook formulas.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
