This role is hybrid, requiring on-site presence at the Westinghouse facility in Columbia, SC for two days each week.

Your Responsibilities:


The Senior Electrical Engineer will function as an individual contributor, fully adept at applying established standards and leveraging knowledge gained from several years of experience in the field, expected to operate independently.

Support upgrade initiatives involving Instrumentation & Control (I&C) and power activities.

Implement swift response modifications from the design phase through to installation and commissioning.

Conduct engineering design and analysis, proposing solutions to complex and ambiguous challenges.

Coordinate and oversee the efforts of designers and craft personnel during project execution.

Create project timelines and budgets, monitoring progress and expenditures.

Develop scopes of work and bid packages.

Collaborate closely with other plant departments, including Operations, Maintenance, Work Management, and Reliability Engineering.

Engage in hazard and safety analysis reviews.

Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following qualifications to the team:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.

A minimum of 3-6 years of relevant experience.

Willingness to travel to support operational plants and manufacturing as needed.

Experience in I&C and Electrical Power includes:
Motor Control Centers

General power layout for I&C cabinets

Knowledge of NEC

Familiarity with Allen Bradley - Rockwell PLC Software

Instrumentation and transmitters

Modbus/Profibus

Ability to specify equipment independently from vendors.
