Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing projects related to water resource management, including flood control, stormwater management, and water quality improvement. Our mission is to create resilient and environmentally conscious stormwater solutions that enhance communities and protect natural resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Design: Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to design water resource management systems, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Design Development and Review: Develop, review, and modify designs and plans for water resource infrastructure, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
  • Communication and Reporting: Prepare project reports, technical memoranda, and design documents, presenting findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Software Utilization: Leverage software tools (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM, ICPR, ArcGIS) to model and simulate water systems, conducting impact analyses and risk assessments.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate water resources solutions with civil engineering and environmental projects.
  • Permitting Support: Assist in preparing documentation and liaising with regulatory agencies to support permitting processes.
  • Site Assessments and Inspections: Participate in site assessments, inspections, and field studies to gather data and monitor project progress.
Ideal Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • EIT or PE certification in Florida.
  • Ability to multitask under tight deadlines.
  • Proactive attitude, enthusiasm, and a good work ethic.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
