About the Role

Canyon Vista Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to lead our Cath Lab and Cardiac service line in promoting excellence in cardiac patient care. As a Cardiac Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to ensure the highest level of care for patients with chest pain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement program goals and objectives related to chest pain certification
  • Plan and coordinate the development of procedures and protocols to ensure excellence in cardiac patient care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Assist with supervisory duties, including procedure database management, payroll, scheduling, and oversight of procedure quality and complications
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required
  • Active AZ or Compact RN License
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in direct care of ACS patients in ED, Cath Lab, ICU/CCU, or Telemetry
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
