Job Summary

The Engineering (Robotic) Instructor - Upward Bound will lead high school students in the design and hands-on construction of robotics, as well as creating the manufacturing tools and processes that will build the robots. The instructor will lead program curriculum, sessions, and lessons focused on engineering and technology, and support students during independent and workgroup time.

Responsibilities
  • Lead high school students in the design and construction of robotics projects
  • Develop and implement program curriculum, sessions, and lessons focused on engineering and technology
  • Lead program participants in local, regional, and national robotics competitions
  • Support students during independent and workgroup time
  • Work as a member of the STEM instructional team
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Robotics Technology or a related field
  • Experience in the use of Lego, Vex, or other forms of robotics
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
