Retail Sales Associate

Overview:
This position involves engaging in sales and providing exceptional customer service through various responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in sales and customer service activities.
- Handle cashier duties, maintain stockroom organization, and ensure store cleanliness as required.
- Adhere to company standards regarding personal sales performance metrics.

Physical Requirements:


The physical requirements outlined here are representative of those that must be fulfilled by an employee to effectively perform the essential functions of this role.

Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to execute the essential functions.
- Requires standing for approximately 5 – 8 hours daily, typically 3 – 5 days per week.
- During busy sales periods, employees may work extended hours throughout a 1 – 12 hour day.

- Involves bending and kneeling to assist customers with merchandise as well as reaching and pulling to stock or retrieve items from storage.

- May necessitate climbing ladders or navigating stairs to stock or acquire merchandise for sale.
- Regularly required to lift items weighing between 5 – 25 lbs, with the possibility of heavier weights in certain situations.

Compensation:
$16.50 per hour. This position is eligible for the company 401k plan.
