Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual who is prepared to:

  • Supervise Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) during shifts, demonstrating leadership through personal example.
  • Complete necessary onboarding documentation for new hires.
  • Support the adherence to and enforcement of company policies and operational procedures.
  • Inspire, motivate, and challenge employees at the store level, setting a positive example.
  • Effectively communicate any employee, customer, or product concerns to the management team.
  • Assist the Store Manager in managing direct operating costs, including salaries, payroll hours, maintenance, supplies, utilities, and communication expenses.
  • Help coordinate staffing and scheduling efforts.
  • Ensure timely completion of daily reports, data entry, and bank transactions.
  • Maintain the store's visual standards and marketing/merchandising guidelines.
  • Support inventory control measures and review audit summaries with CSRs.
  • Assist in the execution of product promotions and initiatives to meet store and corporate goals.
  • Ensure proper placement of store-level advertising and signage.
  • Provide assistance with store layout and cooler arrangements.
  • Enforce compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of retail experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a management role.
  • Proficient in PC applications including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Oversee and assist with the daily operations of the liquor store, which includes stocking and organizing merchandise, presenting products attractively, maintaining the store's overall appearance, processing sales transactions, providing customer service, and managing cash handling responsibilities.
