The Rehabilitation Operations Leader will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategies to improve the delivery of rehabilitation services at Memorial Health University Medical Center. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and develop a team of therapists and support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in hospital-wide strategic planning activities to align rehabilitation services with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Clinical Operations Management: Manage daily operations of rehabilitation services, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient use of resources.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of therapists and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Quality Improvement: Collaborate with department leaders to implement quality improvement initiatives and maintain accreditation standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare administration, business).
  • Licensure/Certification: Illinois licensed/licensure eligible Psychologist, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Pathologist required.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years clinical experience in a broad-based rehabilitation setting, with clinical leadership experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a changing environment, and knowledge of budgeting and operational planning processes.
