Pennsylvania Highway Maintenance Specialist

Salary
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, based on location and experience.
Job Description
We are looking for experienced CDL Equipment Operators to operate trucks, loaders, and other necessary equipment. The duties include conducting pre-and post-operations checks, documenting them in accordance with departmental and legal requirements. Flagging duties for traffic control and various manual labor tasks are also required. Candidates should have a valid Pennsylvania Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with the Air Brake Restriction (L) removed, and a Medical Examiner's Certificate in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should have:
• Successful completion of the Transportation Equipment Operator Trainee Program employed by the Commonwealth of PA;
• Graduation from a Commercial Driver's License Training School;
or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional requirements include being able to demonstrate successful operation of equipment with a manual transmission, and having completed a formal driver training program for the operation of construction and maintenance equipment.
