About the Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to provide nursing care to patients in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Nursing Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with established policies and national standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to patients in accordance with YRMC established policies and national standards of care
  • Float to appropriate level of care (LOC) departments within the base facility and sister facility
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Contribute to a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families

Requirements

  • Two years of general RN care experience
  • Associate degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
  • Valid compact state or Arizona RN license
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider
  • American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support if floating to Emergency Department or taking care of patients less than 8 years of age
  • Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing EKG test or successfully completing basic EKG class/modules within six months of position

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of medical/surgical, progressive care or critical care experience
  • Bachelor degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
