We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Resource Informatics Group Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps engineering, with a focus on automation and static code analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated tools and solutions to improve deployment and operations efficiency
  • Develop and maintain microservices associated with deployment and operations platforms
  • Onboard code from BitBucket repositories into static code analysis tools
  • Test system integrity and implement designs, application developments, and other processes related to infrastructure
  • Update processes and design new ones as needed
  • Automate operational processes with accuracy and compliance with security requirements
  • Specify, document, and develop new product features and write automating scripts
  • Establish DevOps engineer team best practices
  • Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes
  • Work with open-source technologies and CI/CD tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a relevant field
  • Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration, and AWS
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Perl, Ruby, Python, PHP, TypeScript, Bash
  • Experience with open-source technologies and cloud services: EC2, ECS, S3, etc.
  • Knowledge of Atomist Automation Tool a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain protocols and processes with team and management
  • More than two years of experience in a DevOps engineer role or similar role
  • Stellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems
  • Current with industry trends, IT ops, and industry best practices

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience with automated deployment of SonarQube
  • Heavy experience with at least 2 scripting languages
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools
