Coffee Regional Medical C - Practical Nurse Intern Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Practical Nurse Intern to join our team at Coffee Regional Medical C. As a Practical Nurse Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in patient care and develop your skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed personnel, including observing and reporting patient status and needs.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Conduct vital sign measurements and report results.
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge and certification.

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
  • Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
