Job Summary

Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Expert to join our team. As a key member of our AI Delivery team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing AI technology, with a focus on natural language processing.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design of AI technology, with a focus on natural language processing
  • Implement microservices exposing AI technology
  • Develop and deploy infrastructure for hosting and operating AI models
  • Monitor and operate AI model serving infrastructure
  • Maintain operations of live services as issues arise on a rotational, on-call basis
  • Contribute to the development of automation within production and deployment of features
  • Apply best practices to reliably build code that is based on well-established methods

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience building and operating cloud services

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience working with machine learning models in areas such as: natural language processing, generative AI, speech-to-text
