We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with communication disorders in a school setting in Washington.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development.
- Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on students' goals and accommodations.
- Educate teachers and staff on strategies to support students with communication disorders.
- Stay current on best practices in speech-language pathology and educational regulations.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Washington State license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting with children and adolescents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to special education and speech-language services.
