We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Northstar Behavioral Health Network LLC. As a key member of our multidisciplinary staff, you will provide high-quality psychotherapeutic services to clients in need.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing individual and group psychotherapy sessions, as well as facilitating co-occurring substance use groups. You will work closely with our integrated team of professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that promote mental health and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 25 direct client contact hours per week (full-time) or 60% direct client contact time (part-time)
  • Complete documentation within 72 hours of service delivery
  • Maintain accurate tracking of client records and attendance
  • Attend weekly clinical staffing meetings and departmental consultation sessions
  • Fulfill state and local regulations, insurance requirements, and company policies
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Licensed Mental Health Professional (LP, LICSW, LMFT, LPCC) or provisionally licensed (LPC, LAMFT, LCSW) or qualify as a clinical trainee
  • Eligibility for insurer credentialing
  • Master's degree minimum
  • Competent use of DSM-V and evidence-based approaches
  • CPR certification or obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Two years of freedom from chemical use problems
  • Pass a State of Minnesota Background Check
Preferred Qualifications

The following skills and experience are highly desirable:

  • Familiarity with Procentive
  • Training or certification in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, ACT, SFBT, DBT, EMDR, Brain Spotting, etc.
