Job Summary

Aero Instruments & Avionics is seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join our team in Depew, NY. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of electronic instrumentation and aircraft components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test and troubleshoot avionics components to identify issues and perform repairs
  • Utilize specialized test equipment to diagnose and repair electronic systems
  • Interpret technical documentation, including schematics and manuals, to perform duties
  • Adjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning components or assemblies using hand tools and soldering irons
  • Document and report repair work using company software
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality personnel as needed
Requirements:
  • A.A.S. in Electronics or equivalent formal training
  • Experience with electronic/mechanical disassembly and reassembly
  • Soldering experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude and outstanding integrity
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • High-precision soldering experience
  • ESD & IPC certification
Additional Information:
  • Background check required
  • Must pass a drug test in accordance with FAA drug testing program requirements
  • 40-hour schedule, Monday-Friday, 1st or 2nd shift
  • Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour DOE
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • This position is located in Depew, NY. Relocation assistance not available.
