About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Scheduling and Coding Specialist to join our team at Lee Health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize computer scheduling software to effectively schedule and code surgical procedures in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Interact with physicians, patients, families, and department staff to meet identified needs.
  • Verify insurance and obtain necessary pre-certification/authorization for surgical procedures.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in scheduling preferred
