We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Associate to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for our members and associates.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a safe and clean environment by performing routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning restrooms and floors.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures, including conducting safety sweeps and reporting any hazards or incidents to management.
- Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment as needed to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company sustainability programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
