Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough field investigations to gather data and evidence
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks and prevent future failures
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in forensic engineering
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in forensic engineering, with a focus on civil and structural engineering
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • PE or SE license, with experience as a designated expert witness
  • Experience in engineering design or construction, with a focus on building envelopes and roofing systems
  • Knowledge of modern building codes and industry standards
