We are seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to join our team in Southfield, MI. As a member of our Law Department, you will engage in civil litigation with a focus on insurance defense.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role, requiring a balance of in-office and remote work. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative team environment, leveraging your strong oral advocacy and writing skills to manage a time-sensitive caseload.

Responsibilities
  • Engage in civil litigation with a focus on insurance defense
  • Develop and implement trial strategies for No Fault/PIP, Bodily Injury, and Premises Liability cases
  • Maintain excellent interpersonal skills, working closely with clients and colleagues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
  • An active license to practice law in Michigan and membership in good standing with the state bar
  • At least 3 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense
  • Strong automation and technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation
  • Experience working in a paperless environment
