Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of our students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with support staff, parents, and community partners to create a welcoming and supportive learning environment.
  • Advocate for students with disabilities, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and success for all students.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and career advancement opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special needs.
