Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at our New York City clinic location. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners, ensuring patient safety, and performing high-quality scans. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting equipment issues, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized scan room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners to perform high-quality scans
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and report them to the relevant department
  • Order supplies and maintain a clean and organized scan room
  • Utilize ancillary tools and equipment, such as PACS and software systems
  • Post-process images and ensure they are transferred to PACS
  • Provide training and guidance to new technologists
Requirements
  • Strong base knowledge of MRI imaging and patient safety
  • Licensed with the appropriate board (CAMRT, BLS)
  • Completion of an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program or radiologic technology program
  • Clinical work experience of at least 2 years
  • Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer-focused attitude and presentation
