Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Acute Care Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic rehab team at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital (WDH). As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care settings, with experience working with adults presenting with complex dysphagia needs, aphasia, and cognitive-communication disorders. You will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and participating in daily collaboration with nursing, hospitalists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists.

Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a Speech Pathologist in an acute care setting or supervised graduate school placement in an acute care setting;
  • Experience working with speech, language, cognitive-communications, and swallowing disorders;
  • Masters Degree in Speech/Language Therapy or Communication Disorder;
  • NH Speech Therapist Licensure;
  • AHA or ARC BLS within 2 weeks of hire; and
  • CCC certification.

This per diem position offers a competitive salary range of $60-$80 per hour, depending on experience.
