Physical Therapist Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Avante at Leesburg, a Skilled Nursing Facility. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing Physical Therapy services to residents under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the evaluation process, including self-care, homemaking, functional mobility, and coordination.
  • Conduct individual and group treatment as assigned by the Physical Therapist and outlined in the treatment plan.
  • Adapt Physical Therapy techniques and media as needed, following consultation with the Physical Therapist.
  • Maintain acceptable resident care ratios as determined by the Physical Therapist.
  • Provide treatment in accordance with established standards of practice, department procedures, and productivity standards.
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Successful completion of the National Certification for P.T.A.
  • Current state licensure or license eligible.
  • 0-3 years of long-term care experience.
