Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Michael Page. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and processing month-end journal entries, reviewing and reconciling general ledger accounts, and ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process month-end journal entries
  • Review and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported
  • Generate monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure accurate and timely intercompany customer invoicing and payment processing
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Assist in resolving billing issues and discrepancies
  • Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
  • Maintain accurate records of all payables and related transactions
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
  • Prepare and send out customer invoices in a timely manner
  • Ensure all invoicing is accurate and reflects the agreed-upon terms
  • Prepare intermonth financial statements and analysis as needed
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
  • Provide financial insights to support management decision-making
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee benefit administration
  • Support recruitment efforts, including posting job openings and scheduling interviews
  • Assist in onboarding new employees and conducting orientation sessions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with HR tasks is a plus
