Key Responsibilities:
Utilize your engineering expertise in multidisciplinary research initiatives focused on ground combat vehicles. Your background in embedded systems development, computer vision, machine learning, and autonomous navigation will be essential in advancing optionally manned systems for defense applications.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, as effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this role.
Demonstrate your experience in embedded systems, showcasing your knowledge of various engineering processes and methodologies to create comprehensive vehicle system and subsystem architectures.
This role may involve leading projects or sub-projects, requiring you to interpret complex platform requirements and break them down into manageable engineering components across diverse engineering disciplines.
Essential Qualifications:
Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
A Bachelor of Science degree or higher in a relevant engineering or scientific field, accompanied by a minimum of 12 years of experience, is required.
The ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance is necessary.
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering methodologies, including SysML, UML, DoDAF, and UPDM, is essential.
Proven experience with military electronics systems, including subsystem and system-level testing and integration, along with leadership roles in significant projects.
Familiarity with Deterministic and Non-Deterministic Data Bus Architectures, such as CAN Bus and Ethernet, is required.
Capability to perform Functional Decomposition and Capability Development methods to innovate new architectures.
Experience in integrating and developing data networks that span multiple layers of information security.
Proficient in developing and executing system-level project plans.
Experience with requirements management tools, such as IBM Rational Doors, is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of process development and improvement management methodologies (CMMI).
Familiarity with legacy military hardware and software systems.
Understanding of Time Sensitive Networking concepts.
