CNC Machining Specialist

Advanced Metals Machining, a reputable manufacturer in the aerospace sector, is on the lookout for a proficient CNC Programmer to enhance our skilled workforce.

The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with team members and management to meet shared objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create CNC programming for vertical, horizontal, and turning machining centers using Mastercam, employing simulation software to guarantee error-free code.
• Design and develop tooling and fixtures, along with detailed schematics utilizing SolidWorks.
• Ensure a tidy and organized workspace.
• Interpret and analyze technical schematics to confirm that products adhere to client specifications.
• Investigate tools necessary for machining specific materials.
• Diagnose and rectify programming issues as they occur.
• Assist in estimating new projects, providing insights on design for manufacturability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for both new and existing components.
• Offer technical support by addressing inquiries related to programming errors or challenges.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with Mastercam is advantageous.
• A minimum of 5 years in CNC operations.
• Strong computer proficiency.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
