Job Summary

The Perioperative Registered Nurse is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. As a skilled nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement patient care in the perioperative setting.

Responsibilities
  • Apply the nursing process to assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Perform post-operative patient assessments to ensure safe and effective recovery
  • Maintain patient safety and infection control standards
  • Assist anesthesia providers with procedures, including line placement and IV sedation administration
  • Monitor patients according to IV moderate sedation policy
  • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • PA – RN License
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing – BSN Preferred
  • 2 years Critical Care or PACU experience
  • CPR/BLS by AHA within 90 days of hire
  • ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire
  • Clearances as required by Federal and State law
