Sunflower Development Center, a premier provider of naturalistic Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Speech Therapy services in Bristol County, is looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to enhance our vibrant team.

Role Summary:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Sunflower Development Center, you will be instrumental in delivering extensive speech and language services to individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Working alongside a diverse team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and other specialists, you will assist in the development and execution of tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing the communication needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform thorough assessments to gauge speech and language capabilities.
  2. Create and implement personalized treatment strategies based on assessment results.
  3. Collaborate with the ABA team to incorporate speech and language objectives into behavioral intervention plans.
  4. Deliver direct speech-language therapy to clients in both individual and group formats.
  5. Track progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  6. Engage effectively with parents, caregivers, and team members to ensure cohesive and consistent care.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  2. Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts.
  3. ASHA certification (CCC-SLP).
  4. Experience with individuals with autism or similar developmental disorders is preferred.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Work Schedule:

Flexible hours available, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm.
