About the Role

At ALSTOM, we are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for assembling and installing electro-mechanical components and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install electro-mechanical components and equipment according to technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames using various hand and power tools.
  • Connect cables, tubes, and wiring according to standard manufacturing methods and procedures.
  • Attach name plates and/or marks identifying information on parts.
  • Repair a wide variety of electrical and electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Analyze and initiate assembly methods according to process requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of work completed and materials used.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing processes.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of basic hand tools, including torque, crimper, etc.
  • Intermediate soldering skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in ALSTOM-specific computer databases and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wire lists.
  • Physical ability to frequently work in a standing position, lift loads of 40 lbs or less, and occasionally bend, ascend/descend a ladder, and wear personal protective equipment.
