Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our kitchen team at the Belfast Community Co-op. As a key member of our food preparation team, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficient workflow of the kitchen by cleaning and sanitizing dishes, removing waste, and participating in cleaning activities as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the efficient workflow of the kitchen by cleaning and sanitizing dishes
  • Remove waste such as compost, trash, and recyclable materials
  • Prep ingredients for use in production, and package completed products
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a high-volume work environment
  • Ability to assess and prioritize tasks based on external indicators
  • Ability to work safely in a commercial kitchen environment
