We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team at Maxim Healthcare Services in Fayetteville. As a private duty nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in their homes, providing one-on-one care and support.
Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Patient Care: Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members and document actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
- Documentation: Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions.
- Interventions: Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies and patient care outcome standards.
- Evaluation: Revises the plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, and effective/ineffective nursing interventions.
- Clinical Judgment: Use clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs of an assigned unit/floor, including establishing priorities.
- Other Duties: Perform other RN or LPN duties as assigned.
- Certifications: Current Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
- Health Requirements: Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
- Life Support: Current BLS card.
- Experience: One year prior Nurse experience preferred.
- Enteral Feeds: Experience with enteral feeds.
- Tracheostomy Care: Experience with tracheostomy care.
- Ventilator Management: Experience with ventilator management.
- Shifts: Full-time, Part-time, Day shifts, NOC shifts, 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts.
