Position Overview

The Event Catering Associate plays a vital role in assisting the event operations team to ensure the seamless execution of catering services and events.

This position involves preparing for events, transporting necessary equipment, food, and supplies to designated locations, serving attendees during events, and conducting post-event clean-up.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare catering and event services in accordance with client specifications and event orders.
  • Deliver catering food and beverages along with essential supplies and equipment.
  • Arrange chairs, tables, buffet setups, and other equipment as outlined in the event order.
  • Restock food and beverage items throughout the event.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of food service areas during events.
  • Collect and clean up food and beverage items following service.
  • Disassemble and tidy the area after events, returning equipment to proper storage.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all attendees.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Experience in catering services is advantageous.

  • Availability for event-based working hours is essential.
  • Completion of Food Handling and Alcohol Service training is mandatory.


This role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing.

Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
