Merchandise Planner

Cavender's is seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Planner to join our team. As a key member of our planning team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of our merchandise plans and ensuring that our stores are stocked with the right products at the right time.

• Develop and maintain accurate and timely financial forecasts for assigned categories
• Collaborate with merchants to drive sales and margin growth through effective assortment planning and inventory management
• Analyze sales trends and identify opportunities to optimize inventory levels and reduce stockouts
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform business decisions and drive process improvement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration

• Bachelor's degree in Retail Merchandising, Business, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in merchandise planning, replenishment, and/or analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business analysis into strategy
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional partners
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and BI tools
• Knowledge of merchandise hierarchies and master data
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
