About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team in an overnight ICU position. As a key member of our hospital, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with our team of experienced veterinarians and support staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in our ICU department
  • Collaborate with our team of veterinarians and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency care as needed
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and best practices in veterinary medicine
Requirements
  • DVM degree from an accredited veterinary program
  • Current licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the United States
  • Experience in ICU medicine and emergency care
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

About Our Hospital

Our hospital is a 14,000 square foot, hybrid/full-service small animal veterinary hospital serving the Oklahoma City community for over 30 years. We have a collaborative team of DVMs, including multiple specialists, rotating small animal interns, and experienced knowledgeable support staff members. We have nine exam rooms, a double surgery suite, a full in-house lab, ultrasound, radiology, a fully staffed 24/7 ICU, and the only pet-specific Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Chamber in Oklahoma.

We are committed to providing the care and facilities necessary to ensure that the pets entrusted to us live long and healthy lives, as pain-free and as comfortably as possible. We accomplish this by employing only an empathetic, respectful, knowledgeable, and dedicated staff, maintaining a state-of-the-art, clean and comfortable hospital, utilizing cutting-edge technology and preventative health care plans, and always putting the health and comfort of the pet first above all else.
