Job Summary:

We are searching for a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide occupational therapy treatments to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing occupational therapy treatments to individuals in their homes
  • Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary under the supervision of a Registered Therapist
  • Educating patients and families on how to perform exercises and activities
  • Maintaining patient records and documenting treatments

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a MA Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team while working with a variety of patients and medical professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks, use a computer, including electronic medical records (EMR) systems
