About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate RN to join our team. As a New Grad RN, you will participate in a year-long residency program that is customized to fit your needs and pace. This program will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in your role and advance your career.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients on the Medical-Surgical Unit
- Participate in a residency core curriculum based on your individual learning needs
- Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care activities based on acuity of need, patient preference, and resource availability
- Initiate and/or maintain interventions to assure continuity of safe/effective care for patients
- Respond to data indicating risk to individual's health and initiate action to correct, reduce, or prevent the risk
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- BSN preferred
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN)
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire
