Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing optimal care to patients throughout their surgical experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain a positive and caring attitude with patients, physicians, and staff.
  • Ensure patient safety through appropriate transport, transfer, and positioning.
  • Coordinate activities with the Anesthesiologist, Surgical Technologist, and Surgeon to ensure safe patient care.
  • Monitor the environment to maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
  • Operate and troubleshoot OR surgical equipment.
  • Provide professional intra-operative nursing care by utilizing the nursing care process and making a plan for patient care.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse.
  • Circulating and/or Scrubbing in experience.
  • Valid and good standing Virginia Registered Nurse Licensure.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Active BLS and ACLS.
