Combination Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Combination Inspector to join our team of professionals at SAFEbuilt. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work on a variety of projects and assignments.

• Perform field inspections during various stages of construction to ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Read and examine plans and specifications to verify compliance with codes and regulations.
• Report violations and maintain accurate records and files.
• Perform other related duties as required to support the team and organization.

• Extensive knowledge of local building codes and current construction procedures and technology.
• Ability to interpret codes in the field and provide code-compliant solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Good time management, organization, and attention to detail skills to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment in a fast-paced environment.

• OH Board of Building Standards building, plumbing, mechanical, and/or electrical safety inspector certification(s).
• OH building official certification.
• Additional OH certifications.
• Experience in municipal code inspections.
