**Job Summary**

As a Facilities Maintenance Worker with the Colorado State Government, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to work requests, and inspecting facilities to identify necessary repairs. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of locks.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform general routine maintenance functions, including repairs and adjustments to facilities and equipment.
  • Respond to work requests from the maintenance dispatch desk, both during and after normal operating hours.
  • Inspect facilities to identify necessary repairs and generate work orders accordingly.
  • Troubleshoot and repair various types of locks, including mechanical and electronic locks.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
