Job Title: Facility Attendant

Join the City of Fort Collins team as a Facility Attendant, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of patron experience at the Lincoln Center & Community Center for Creativity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as front-line staff for all building activities and security, reporting to the Facility Services Coordinator.
  • Provide support as an individual contributor or part of a team in facility, performance, and event preparation.
  • Set up and dismantle equipment, tables, chairs, audio-visual equipment, marker boards, flip charts, and kitchen equipment in all areas of the facility.
  • Assist clients and full-time staff as needed.
  • Perform custodial responsibilities throughout the facility to maintain facility safety, appearance, service to the public, and operational status.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Must be proficient in English with the ability to read, speak, understand, and write.
  • One year of custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, event setup, or kitchen experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Ability to interpret and apply reason, common sense, good judgment, and understanding to carry out detailed instructions furnished in written, oral, diagramed, and formatted scheduling instructions.
  • Ability to take direction from supervisor or team lead and act individually.
  • Ability to solve and implement practical solutions to problems.
  • Foresee and initiate proactive measures to ensure program quality, customer service, and facility safety and integrity.
Working Environment:

Work is performed in multi-use performing arts and conference facilities with a dynamic and changing event and activity schedule. Work variable hours, including early morning, afternoon, evening, and late-night shifts, both during the week, weekends, and some holidays. Employees will work alone or as an unsupervised team.
