Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrive on time and ready for your shift in the appropriate uniform.

  • Assist the lead catering chef in loading necessary food and service items into transport vehicles.
  • Help in stocking food stations and buffets as directed.
  • Understand and comply with company policies and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the lead catering chef to ensure proper setup and presentation according to event specifications.
  • During events, your tasks may include setting tables, serving food, carrying trays, cleaning tables, resetting the venue post-event, and managing waste.
  • Be flexible and ready to assist in various roles to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in scheduled employee meetings and contribute suggestions for improvement.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Exhibit strong moral and ethical standards in the workplace.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment while maintaining quality.
  • Skilled in creating and sustaining a safe working environment.
  • Capable of restocking items as needed throughout your shift.
  • Effective communication skills with both staff and customers.
  • Good mathematical and written communication abilities.
  • Proven track record of flexibility in scheduling based on employer needs.
  • Willingness to undertake various tasks as directed by management.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Availability to work evenings, holidays, and extended hours as required.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • ServSafe Certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent walking and standing for up to 6-8 hours.
  • Able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Regular use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills, including fine motor skills.
  • Able to reach in various directions and kneel or stoop as needed.
