Job Overview

We are a 228-bed, community-based hospital serving Montgomery County and the surrounding area since 1943.

Our Radiation Oncology department provides quality care to patients with complex and routine needs. We seek a skilled Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our team.

About the Role

This is a PRN Days; 8 or 10 hour shift position in our Radiation Oncology department.

No weekends, no evenings, no holidays. Competitive RN pay and benefits package available.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, document, and evaluate patient clinical and psychosocial needs and responses to therapeutic procedures.
  • Provide education and psychosocial support to patients and families.
  • Serve as a representative of the radiation oncology clinic and hospital environment as a clinical role model in all interactions with patients, families, visitors, physicians, colleagues, and other staff members.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program for Registered Nurses.
  • Registered Nurse licensed in Maryland.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Two years of nursing required, oncology experience preferred.
  • ONS/ONCC Radiation Therapy Certificate preferred.
  • Current CPR Certification required.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $53.02 per hour, commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
