Nanny Assistant

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for the supervision and care of children and babies in a small childcare setting at Club 4 Fitness. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, alert, and able to interact with various age groups of children for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrive at work promptly and wear the required uniform.
• Greet children and parents/members upon arrival.
• Assist children and babies with daily tasks, such as dressing, feeding, and hygiene.
• Organize and initiate playtime activities to promote learning and development.
• Monitor and control the behavior of the children to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
• Clean and sanitize play equipment, toys, and surfaces daily.
• Perform end-of-shift cleaning tasks, including disinfecting bathrooms, windows, and disposing of trash.

Requirements:

• Current certification in infant/Child CPR, First Aid, and AED.
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and energy to work with children for extended periods.

Work Environment:

This role requires working in a nursery setting with varying shift hours, including 4-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday to Saturday, and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Thursday. The employee may be able to leave earlier than their scheduled time, but must give full attention to every child and infant at all times.
