Clinical Admissions Liaison

Job Description:

Staffosaurus is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join our team. As an Admissions Coordinator, you will be responsible for screening and processing program admissions, ensuring that clients meet admission criteria and receive high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts initial telephone screenings of potential clients and referents to assess eligibility for admission.
• Meets with clients on admission to conduct face-to-face screenings and reports to the clinical team.
• Prioritizes client needs and issues related to client orientation, ensuring a smooth transition into our program.
• Takes phone calls from inquiry and provides effective answers about our treatment program, addressing client questions and concerns.
• Completes the admission process efficiently and accurately, reviewing documents with clients to ensure they understand their rights and responsibilities.
• Provides clients and families with orientation materials to help them acclimate to our treatment environment.
• Orients clients to the treatment environment with sensitivity to new-client concerns, including physical and emotional discomfort.
• Provides referrals for individuals who are not eligible for our program.
• Maintains confidentiality and protects the privacy of clients and staff.
• Notes client care and environmental issues and communicates with appropriate staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in mental health or healthcare administration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Salary and Benefits:

$54,000 - $64,000 per year (plus bonus opportunities) and comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.

Schedule and Location:

Full-time position with a hybrid schedule, working from our Merchantville, NJ office.
