Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity in Charter School Setting

Soliant is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an international charter school organization in Ann Arbor, MI. As an SLP in this role, you will work with a wide age range of students in a charter school setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs
  • Determine eligibility for speech services and work with an interdisciplinary team to determine appropriate goals
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for children with identified speech and language disorders
  • Develop communication goals and contribute to an Individual Education Plan
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns
  • Maintain accurate records for all children on the caseload
  • Provide reports of children's progress to parents
  • Organize caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school or classroom
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • Michigan SLP license
